Introducing The Doris Foundation

Enigma is excited to partner with The Doris Foundation to provide portions of its Financial Savings for Anyone virtual class focused on deep discount shopping, charitable giving and Full Market Value tax deductions for charitable donations to churches; food banks and closets; public and social service organizations. The Doris Foundation was founded in 2023 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in remembrance of Mr. Bell's late mother, Doris, who cared a great deal to providing for and taking care of those in need.

  • 11.9% of Americans live below the poverty level

  • 12% of the U.S. population or 41.2M people are on government food assistance programs

    • More than 65% of food assistance program participants include families with children

    • The average amount of assistance is $127 per family per month

    • Food assistance includes only uncooked food items with some states allowing the homeless to use benefits for hot meals

  • 6.7% of Americans utilize Food Banks either due to lack of or insufficient Food Assistance (USDA, 2023)

  • 53M Americans utilize Food Banks according to FeedingAmerica.com

  • There is estimated to be approximately 1,100 Food Banks in the United States including on U.S. military bases

  • Food Banks do not just accept and distribution food, they also accept

    • Health, hygiene and personal items

    • Laundry and cleaning products

    • Pet food and care products

    • Other items as donated not covered by food Assistance
